The Original Sun Mountain Stove
The Whitney is at the top of its class worldwide for extremely low particulate emission. It is EPA certified and UL tested for safety. The Whitney pellet stove is an excellent alternative to any wood stove. It has one of the largest heat exchangers of any free standing, solid fuel burning appliance. This allows for one of the most outstanding radiant heat signatures of any wood burning heater.
The Whitney pellet stove is part of a family of non-electric pellet stoves by Sun Mountain Stove Works. Each is designed to meet the needs of different spaces, indoors and out. These stoves are made in the USA and built of heavy gauge metals that will last for years of service.
The Whitney measures in at 61" high, 34" wide, with a base diameter of 26". It weighs 145lbs and has a hopper capacity of 40 or 80lbs. The adjustable pellet burn rate ranges from 1-4lbs per hour.
